My way is her way. This song came from my deepest emotions in a time where I almost gave up because I wasn’t seeing any possible way to grow or advance as an artist. It means more to because it’s for a very special person who has been around through my hardest days. I tried to paint a picture from my mind's eye and appreciate the beautiful African woman who changed my way with her presence in my life. The production perfectly suited the idea because it employs the use of the ‘Dondo’ an hour glass African drum in particular because of its unique sound. The cultural blend of indigenous African instruments and some western instruments makes this project on to talk about. The Sparse and airy melodies laid out with smooth and silky R&B vocals used in telling this story makes it more beautiful
