The song 'You Remain My God' draws its inspiration from Psalm 34:1, which declares, 'I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.' This scripture emphasizes that our worship and praise to God should not be dependent on whether He has met our needs or not. Often, people worship God because He has answered their prayers or provided for their needs, but this is not true worship. Genuine worship should be sincere and unwavering, regardless of God's response to our requests. It should stem from the fact that God is the only true and unchanging God. As such, we should worship the Lord at all times, regardless of our circumstances, knowing that God plans for us are good and not evil, as stated in Jeremiah 29:11
