Maybe D.I.O.R (Death Is Our Release) is my 3rd proj to be released since my deal. A lot like the EP “Count Me In” which was released before my debut album “You’re The Problem” this project is very personal b/c I recorded, mixed, & mastered mostly in house. Maybe D.I.O.R is a concept I came up with to sort of cap off the sad boy era of my music. I go in depth about how I feel about life & death & the pain that lies within it all. I’ll still be vulnerable & emotional in my music but certain topics about gun violence & death I don’t necessarily want to speak about anymore. A lot of this music may have never come out if I didn’t release. Songs I may have forgotten about & some I listen to on a daily, but didn’t know how to market. I fell in love with the art of music not the art of marketing.
