"Complicated" is Menxee's first release for the year 2023. It is a love song with a call to doing love rightly and as it should be. He graciously pours out his heart and mind on this thing called love, saying that "love ain't complicated", rather people are sometimes. On this song, Menxee spotlights the merry-go-round characteristic of toxic relationships as the unhealthy behaviors go on over and over again. He expresses these thoughts in the first person, singing melodiously on the first verse and then a chill rap verse where he imagines all that could be if and only if love was experienced in its truest and purest nature.
