“The Colors That Make You” is a 3 song project that portrays 3 different stages of a relationship with someone. “If I Were You” is about a girl who's heartbroken after losing someone who couldn't make up their mind to stay together. They come back asking for advice and she responds with what she thinks of the situation. “Over My Head” is a story about falling for someone that isn’t a good idea because it will cause problems, but this guy makes it easy to forget that. The chorus even sings "uh oh", in for some trouble. "The Other Side" is the third song about breaking down walls in a relationship and getting to the heart of who someone is, beyond the surface. Intimate but heartfelt, simple and sweet.
