Growing up in a neighborhood, somewhere in Liberia 🇱🇷, we were introduced to challenges as kids, we were always ready to pick up any fight and win, we fought for survival, food, toys, space to sleep, space to sit in class and etc. The only language we could speak and understand easily was “Leh Bet Ley (let’s bet)”. Sometimes unfortunately you lose a bet but you never give up, you keep betting till you win… This orientation isn’t just a sad lifestyle of African children but also a preparation for the future and gaining the ability to seize the opportunities and space in society.. It’s with great pleasure to share my experiences with you through Rhyme and Poetry. I hope you love it...
